Treasured (and Treasuring) Time
On fun with family and friends before flights
Hullo my lovely readers
With thanks for your kindness about last week’s letter (including extremely generous offers of honorary Welsh status!), this week’s is another very brief one. For another positive reason, though: namely that, amidst the continued juggles of work (grateful) and electronics (including the addition of electrical storms… a little less grateful!), in this last week before we leave for London, I’ve been making and taking time to be with local people.
Either family, friends, or folks who are a combination of the two.
But mostly my beloved Gramma, who is the last of the six grandparents I was blessed with thanks to my blended family – and therefore makes me even more conscious than I usually am of how particularly precious time is as a commodity.
(Hi Gramma!)
So, in lieu of a longer letter, please accept this photo of me, my Gramma and Mama.
(Shared with permission, and also featuring the side of my aunt and uncle’s older dog, Podo, who was much more interested in sunbathing than posing – which feels totally fair!)
Thanks so much for reading, and love and solidarity until next week,
Jx

Wonderful photograph of three wonderful, beautiful and inspiring people. My pleasure and privilege to know you J, and your beloved Mother and Gramma🥰
Thank you for sharing these glimpses into your family life.
Love this photo. :)
